Gase: Ryan Tannehill is Dolphins' starting quarterback in 2018
Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said, "I see [Ryan Tannehill] as our starting quarterback" in 2018, reports Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.
Tannehill underwent a second surgery on his ACL and missed the entirety of the 2017 season. He's expected to be ready for 2018. Jay Cutler's headed back into free agency, as is backup Matt Moore. The Dolphins will need to do their best to protect Tannehill from another injury. He will be entering the second year of a four-year, $77 million deal signed back in 2015.
Through five seasons, Tannehill has completed 62.7% of his passes while throwing for 18,455 yards, 106 touchdowns and 66 interceptions in 77 career starts.
