Chargers' Melvin Gordon (ankle) says he will 'be ready' for Week 17
Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (ankle) said he will "be ready" to play Week 17 against the Raiders.
Gordon was not able to practice Wednesday, and head coach Anthony Lynn suggested the running back will be a game-time call. "If it's something he can play with, then he'll play," Lynn said. "But right now we won't know until the end of the week." Gordon's tune seemed more upbeat, but it is definitely worth keeping an eye on. If Gordon cannot go, Branden Oliver will likely serve as the lead back in a must-win game for Los Angeles.
Our models currently project Gordon for 8.9 FanDuel points with 37.8 rushing yards, 16.0 receiving yards and 0.4 touchdowns. Gordon's salary has been set at $8,400 for Week 17.
