Broncos rule out Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) and Cody Latimer (thigh) for Sunday
Denver Broncos wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) and Cody Latimer (thigh) have been downgraded to "out" for Week 16.
The Broncos will be extremely thin at receiver in Washington. The fact that Sanders couldn't get healthy 10 days after going down bodes poorly for his Week 17 status. No matter who takes snaps under center, the Broncos' quarterback will have precious few weapons. Bennie Fowler should start opposite Demaryius Thomas.
Due to the flux at the quarterback position, Thomas is merely 17th in our wide receiver fantasy rankings this week despite likely major volume. We project him for 77.2 yards and 0.3 touchdowns on 6.2 catches – 12.54 FanDuel points at a salary of $6,500. Fowler ranks outside the top-50 options at the position.
