Leonard Fournette (quad, ankle) only expected to be out one week for Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette (quad, ankle) is expected to return in Week 16 versus the San Francisco 49ers, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Fournette has been playing through injuries all season but he's going to miss his second game of the year this afternoon versus the Houston Texans. Fortunately, it sounds like the star rookie will be back in action in Week 16. Look for the Jaguars to rely on a backfield committee of Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon to fill the void.
Fournette is averaging 16.6 FanDuel points across 11 games this season, with 923 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns, in addition to 29 catches (40 targets) for 213 yards and 1 touchdown.
