Vernon Davis comes up empty on Thanksgiving in Washington's win
Washington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis finished with 0 catches on 1 target in a 20-10 Week 12 win over the New York Giants on Thanksgiving.
Davis had seen at least 6 targets in three straight games entering Thursday but he was a forgotten man in the victory. The 33-year-old veteran hasn't scored since Week 3, but if Jordan Reed (hamstring) remains out in Week 13, Davis should be able to bounce back against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football.
numberFire's models projected Davis to score 9.4 FanDuel points in Week 12. Through 11 games, he has 33 catches for 527 yards and 1 touchdown on 49 targets this season.
