Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals reportedly nearing 1-year extension

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is close to signing a 1-year extension, reports ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk).

What It Means:

Things can always change, but this would suggest that Fitzgerald intends to return for a 15th NFL season in 2018. He will turn 35 at the end of August and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, with 60 receptions (2nd in the NFL) for 677 yards (7th in the NFL) and 3 touchdowns on 88 targets this season. Fitzgerald and the Cardinals take on the Houston Texans in Week 11.

numberFire's models project Fitzgerald to score 11.8 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,900 in Week 11, with 10.3 targets, 6.7 receptions, 68.5 yards, and 0.28 touchdowns versus the Texans. He's the WR22 in our weekly fantasy rankings.
