Bill O'Brien: Bruce Ellington needs to be more involved in Texans' offense
Houston Texans wide receiver Bruce Ellington "needs to get the ball more," head coach Bill O'Brien said Wednesday.
"He's doing some really good things out there," O'Brien added. Ellington has seen a season-high 8 targets each of the past two weeks, and with Will Fuller (ribs) in doubt for Week 11, he could be in for an even larger workload against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. In eight games this season, Ellington has 19 receptions for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns on 39 targets.
numberFire's models are tempering expectations for Ellington in Week 11, as we project him for 4.1 targets, 2.0 receptions, 30.0 yards, and 0.16 touchdowns.
