Everson Griffen (foot) inactive for Vikings in Week 10
Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Everson Griffen (foot/back) will not play against the Washington Redskins in Week 10.
Griffen managed to get in a limited practice on Friday, but he was ruled out after pregame warmups. He has at least 1 sack in every game this season and leads the Vikings with 10 overall. It's a major downgrade for Minnesota's pass rush, as well as a corresponding upgrade for Kirk Cousins and Washington's aerial attack.
Entering Week 10, the Vikings rank 11th in the NFL in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play.
