Cam Newton rushes for 86 yards and 1 TD as Panthers narrowly beat Falcons
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton completed 13-of-24 passes for 137 yards, with another 86 yards and 1 touchdowns on 9 carries versus the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Newton had a forgettable day through the air, but racked up his most rushing yards since Week 15 of the 2015 season. A Christian McCaffrey touchdown and 2 Graham Gano field goals, along with Newton's score, were enough to get the Panthers a 20-17 win over their divison rivals.
numberFire's models projected Newton for 20.8 FanDuel points and he nearly hit that on the bullseye with 20.1 in Sunday's win.
