San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Pierre Garcon (neck) is headed to Injured Reserve, ending his 2017 season, per John Lund of KNBR 680 AM.
What It Means:
Devasting blow to the Niners as Garcon was by far the team's best pass catcher, leading the team in receptions and yards. Without Garcon, Marquise Goodwin and Aldrick Robinson step forward as the top two receivers for the Niners in Week 9.
Garcon caught 40 passes for 500 yards on 67 targets through 8 gamers this season.
