Devonta Freeman totals 90 scoreless yards in Falcons' loss
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman ran 12 times for 72 yards and caught three passes for 18 yards as his team fell to the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football in Week 7.
Freeman out-touched Tevin Coleman 15-6 in this one, though neither back was able to find the end zone. The Falcons inexplicably didn't go to Freeman on multiple occasions from the goal-line, instead choosing to run a wide receiver handoff with Taylor Gabriel from the half-yard line on fourth down. Freeman and the Falcons take on the New York Jets in Week 8.
Freeman finished Week 7 with 10.5 FanDuel points and 2.27 Rushing Net Expected Points, per numberFire live.
