Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott's suspension remains 'in place'
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott's suspension is "in place," said NFL spokesperson Joe Lockhart.
"The suspension is in place and anyone who tells you otherwise is not accurate," Lockhart stated. In the eyes of the NFL, Elliott is currently banned, but that's irrelevant, as his fate will ultimately be determined by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals sometime this week. In the meantime, Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris should be owned in all formats. The Cowboys face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7.
Assuming the suspension stands, numberFire's models project Elliott for another 104.7 carries, 457.4 rushing yards, and 4.22 touchdowns with 16.1 receptions for 126.3 yards and 0.88 touchdowns over the remainder of the year.
