Teddy Bridgewater (knee, PUP) 'ready to go' for Vikings
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee, PUP) is ready to return, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
"Sources close to Bridgewater say he is ready to go," Rapoport writes. The former first-round pick is eligible to begin practice this week and a checkup with doctors on Monday will likely determine whether or not he does so. With Sam Bradford (knee) out, it's possible that Bridgewater is under center for the Vikings as soon as Week 7 versus the Baltimore Ravens.
Bridgewater last played in the NFL in 2015, where he threw for 3,231 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and 9 picks. He earned 48.47 Passing Net Expected Points that season, meaning a league average quarterback would have scored 48.47 fewer points than Bridgewater if put in similar situations.
