Rob Gronkowski (thigh) practicing Tuesday for Patriots
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is at Tuesday's practice, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
In Week 5, Gronkowski didn't play after being a late addition to the injury report with a thigh issue. He's expected to return this week, but his practice participation bodes well for his availability against the New York Jets. That will allow less opportunities for Danny Amendola while Dwayne Allen returns to backup duties on Sunday.
At $8,000, Gronkowski's projected output of 54.4 yards, 0.79 touchdowns and 12.1 FanDuel points makes him the number-one tight end option on this week's slate.
