Vernon Davis leads Washington with 89 yards in loss to Chiefs
Washington Redskins tight end Vernon Davis caught 2-of-3 passes for 89 yards in Washington's 29-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday.
With Jordan Reed banged up, Davis saw 70 percent of the Skins' snaps at tight end, and most of his yardage came on a 69-yards bomb from Kirk Cousins. While Davis may see his snaps reduced some once the Skins are back from bye, he will remain a reliable force across the middle for Cousins.
Our models project Davis for 236.4 yards on 19.5 catches, and 2.5 touchdowns remaining this season.
