Vikings' Sam Bradford (knee) cleared of structural damage

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford remains week-to-week with a bone bruise in his knee.

What It Means:

Following a meeting with Dr. James Andrews, Bradford has been cleared of any structural damage, meaning it will be more about pain tolerance when determining his return to the field. Case Keenum will make a second consecutive start for the Vikings against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 3.

Among quarterbacks with at least 30 pass attempts this season, Bradford is 1st with 0.72 Passing Net Expected Points per attempt.
