Dolphins' Jay Ajayi does not practice for second straight day
Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi (knee) did not practice on Thursday, making it the second consecutive missed practice.
Ajayi has been dealing with a sore knee but head coach Adam Gase has all but guaranteed the running back will play in Week 3. Ajayi has a history of knee injuries, and it appears the Dolphins are going to be limiting his practice reps all year.
Ajayi is projected for a top-10 performance against the New York Jets on Sunday with 100.4 total yards and 0.6 touchdowns for 14.6 FanDuel points in Week 3.
