Panthers' Cam Newton (ankle, shoulder) remains limited in practice
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (ankle, shoulder) was limited in practice for the second consecutive day on Thursday.
There is no chance Newton doesn't play in Week 3 but the fact that he has been limited with both a shoulder and ankle injury this week could limit the signal caller's effectiveness versus the New Orleans Saints.
numberFire's models project Newton as the second-best quarterback option in Week 3 with 282.9 passing yards, 2.0 passing touchdowns, and 29.0 rushing yards for 22.5 FanDuel points on Sunday.
