Jets' Matt Forte stuck in a three-man running back committee
New York Jets running back Matt Forte will be part of a running back by committee moving forward, according to offensive coordinator John Morton.
Morton said the team liked what they saw from Forte, Bilal Powell, and Elijah McGuire in Week 2 and would like to 'play by committee' moving forward. Forte led the Jets with 13 touches and 27 snaps against the Oakland Raiders but will likely see a slight drop in reps in Week 3 with McGuire picking up a few more.
Our models projected Forte for 62.2 total yards and 0.3 touchdowns for 8.8 FanDuel points in Week 3 before the word of a running back committee came out.
