Phillip Rivers performs well despite the Chargers losing in Week 2
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers totaled 331 passing yards with 1 touchdown in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Rivers had a good day as the Chargers out-gained the Dolphins in total yardage (367-336) but a pair of missed field goals led to the Los Angles loss. Rivers was 31-of-39 with his lone touchdown pass helping Antonio Gates break the record for most scores in a career by a tight end.
Rivers was projected for 17.4 FanDuel points, by numberFire's models, and finished nearly spot on with 17.2 points in Week 2.
