Giants' Eli Manning says need for improvement starts with him in Week 2

New York Giants' quarterback Eli Manning said the entire offense needs to improve in Week 2 against the Detroit Lions.

“I think the whole offense needs to make improvements,” Manning told the New York Daily News. “Start with me. I got to do a better job, be better prepared and lead this team better. I’ll start with me and go from there. I just need to play better. Plays needs to be made.” Only two of Manning's passes on Sunday night went for over 20 yards and nine of his completions were checkdowns to running back Shane Vereen.
