Darren McFadden made inactive for Cowboys' Week 1
Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden is inactive for Sunday night's game versus the New York Giants.
In a surprising move, McFadden goes from expected starter, earlier in the week, to Ezekiel Elliott's backup to a healthy scratch in Week 1. The Cowboys will have Alfred Morris as the number-two back versus the Giants.
Our models projected McFadden for 32.9 rushing yards, 92.4 receiving yards, and 3.3 total touchdowns this season. Those numbers could obviously be on the decline if he is no longer the backup.
