Colts' Adam Vinatieri says his recovery time is very important at age 44
Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri says that his training regime consists of plenty of rest in order to keep his leg fresh for the season.
"For me, it's less about strength and more about recovery time," Vinatieri said. "Being able to go out and kick a bunch of balls, switch the button off and be able to feel good enough to do it again a day or two later. That for me is big." Vinatieri's kicks come with some added importance in the beginning of the season for the Colts, because without Andrew Luck, they could struggle to score some.
numberFire's models project Vinatieri for 1.9 made field goals on 2.1 attempts in Week 1, to go with 2.5 extra points. He is our 5th-ranked fantasy kicker in the Week 1 slate.
