Jonathan Williams (knee) day-to-day for Bills

Buffalo Bills running back Jonathan Williams suffered a knee injury during Sunday's practice and is considered day-to-day, according to ESPN's Mike Rodak.

What It Means:

In line to be the team's backup running back to Lesean McCoy, Williams is set to play a vital role in the Bills' plans this season, especially when you consider the team's emphasis on the rushing game. But he's struggled with injuries of late, which could force Joe Banyard into duty at one point or another.

Having posted 94 rush yards and a touchdown in his rookie campaign, our models project Williams for 68.9 rushes, 264.5 yards and 0.9 scores in 2017. In his backup role, Williams is being drafted as RB54 but is just RB73 in our current rankings.
