Patriots' Tom Brady projected for third-most touchdowns of his career

numberFire's algorithms have New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady pegged for 38.5 passing scores and 337.8 fantasy points in 2017.

What It Means:

Last year, in a suspension-shortened season, Brady tossed 28 touchdowns while also accounting for 3,554 yards and two interceptions in 12 contests. His 6.5% touchdown rate was the third-highest of his career and he'll surely look to improve upon that this year with new weapon Brandin Cooks at his disposal.

If Brady's projections play out, he will have tallied the single-most touchdowns, along with a 6.4% touchdown rate across 16 games this season. And, as for his overall output, that would rank him second behind only Aaron Rodgers. Accordingly, Brady is the second quarterback off draft boards, according to average draft position.
