Alshon Jeffery behind on learning Eagles' offense

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is "behind" mentally after missing time early in camp, wide receivers coach Mike Groh believes.

What It Means:

Groh came to this conclusion after Jeffery ran a bad route in Thursday's preseason game. "Anytime you miss the amount of time that he did, he's a little bit behind," said Groh. "Fortunately, we have time for him to catch up." Jeffery obviously isn't grasping the team's playbook as quickly as Groh had hoped, but he still has three weeks to cram before Week 1. At least Jeffery's shoulder, which had been bothering him at the start of camp, is no longer an issue.

Our models project Jeffery for 992 receiving yards and 7.73 touchdowns on 63 catches, making him our WR16 in standard fantasy football leagues.
