Jacksonville's Dede Westbrook goes off against Tampa Bay
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook totaled six catches and 131 yards on seven targets in Thursday's 12-8 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Westbrook's big night came opposite third- and fourth-string corners, however, the rookie managed to put a stamp on his second straight preseason game. And while he's set to be the Jaguars' fourth wideout, the fourth-round pick could make himself a consistent deep threat in time. With Marqise Lee (ankle) on the shelf for four-to-six weeks, Westbrook could start the year behind Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson.
In 2 preseason games to date, the former Oklahoma standout has yielded 7 catches on 8 targets, for 173 yards and a score.
