LeGarrette Blount underwhelming at Eagles camp

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeGarrette Blount "hasn't exactly stood out" in Eagles camp, reports Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

What It Means:

McLane points out that Blount's running style has never translated well in practice, but nonetheless, he felt the need to mention how unimpressive the veteran back has been thus far. The Eagles don't seem too concerned after releasing Ryan Mathews on Tuesday. Blount figures to be a touchdown-dependent low-end RB2 in Philadelphia this season.

numberFire's models project Blount to rush 166.4 times for 680.7 yards and 4.75 touchdowns this season while adding 11.4 receptions for 64.0 yards and 0.48 touchdowns. He is our 36th-ranked fantasy running back entering the year.
