Chris Johnson gains 55 total yards in Cardinals debut
Chris Johnson rushed 11 times for 45 yards and caught one pass for 10 yards in the Arizona Cardinals' fourth preseason game.
Johnson missed the Cardinals' last pre-season game, and Thursday night may have been an audition for a roster spot.
Though it's been five years since Johnson has posted a positive Rushing Net Expected Points score, there may well be room in the Cardinals backfield for him. Andre Ellington finished dead last as the least efficient back in the league in 2014 according to our Rushing Net Expected Points metric, and David Johnson is yet unproven as a rookie.
