Devonta Freeman to sit out Thursday's preseason finale for Falcons
Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (hamstring) will sit out Thursday's preseason finale against the Ravens.
Rookie Tevin Coleman is expected to see limited playing time in Thursday's game. The starting spot is still up for grabs in the Falcons backfield, and Freeman would likely have played if this were a regular season game.
The Falcons ranked 16th in our schedule-adjusted Rushing Net Expected Points metric last season. Our algorithms project Freeman to finish the year with 494 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, 34 receptions, 293 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.
