Jason Pierre-Paul plans to report to Giants next week
New York Giants' unsigned franchise player Jason Pierre-Paul plans to report to the team next week, and expects to play "early in the season," reports ESPN's Dan Graziano.
The defensive end has been out since a July 4th fireworks accident that resulted in the amputation of one of his fingers.
The Giants finished 22nd in our scheduled-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play and 30th in Defensive Rushing NEP per play last year even with Pierre-Paul in the lineup. He had 12.5 sacks, the second largest total of his career.
