Brady had appealed his suspension stemming from the team's alleged deflation of footballs during the 2014 playoffs to U.S. District Court Judge Richard Berman. Berman nullified the suspension. The Patriots face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1.

The Patriots -- with Brady at the helm -- finished 2014 ranked fifth in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. Individually, Brady was also fifth in Passing NEP per play among quarterbacks who recorded at least 200 dropbacks.
