Panthers' general manager happy with Michael Oher's preseason work
Carolina Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman said Tuesday that he is pleased with how new left tackle Michael Oher has played in preseason and training camp.
Oher is on his third team in three seasons after playing his first five with the Baltimore Ravens. Over six seasons between the Ravens and Tennessee Titans, Oher has started all 91 games in which he has played. A majority of his time, however, has come at right tackle.
Despite playing with an inexperienced and injury-plagued offensive line last season, the Panthers finished 18th in our schedule-adjusted Net Expected Points per play.
