Patriots waive receiver Josh Boyce
The New England Patriots waived wide receiver Josh Boyce in their first wave of cuts on Monday.
What It Means:
Boyce, a 2013 fourth-round pick, has struggled to find the field as a Patriot, and his poor performance this preseason seems to have been a nail in the coffin. He was targeted 11 times in the Patriots' preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, yet only managed to haul in 2 receptions for 19 yards.
