Broncos' Demaryius Thomas fully recovered from 2016 hip issue
Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas said he has fully recovered from the hip issue he dealt with last season.
Thomas aggravated what sounds like a chronic hip issue early last season and was bothered by it the rest of the year. "This is the best I’ve felt my whole career," Thomas said. "Usually I wake up in the morning and I’m like, ‘OK, my hip’s tight. I’ve got to loosen it up to get it going.’ But now it’s totally different." In addition to his health, Thomas will also be reunited with offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, under whose watch he broke out in 2012.
Our models project Thomas for 1,076 receiving yards and 5.53 touchdowns on 86 receptions in the 2017 season. Thomas has topped 1,000 yards with at least 90 catches in each of his last five seasons.
