Steelers' Maurkice Pouncey expected to be out till Week 12
Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkic Pouncey (ankle) is expected to be out till Week 12, according to Steelers beat writer Mark Kaboly.
Pouncey injured his ankle during Sunday's preseason game against the Packers. He is expected to be placed on I.R./return which will guarantee he misses the first eight games of the season. Sixth-year lineman Cody Wallace is expected to replace Pouncey at center.
The Steelers ranked 23rd in our schedule-adjusted Rushing Net Expected Points metric last season. The Steelers will have large voids to fill especially during their first two games without Le'Veon Bell, Martavis Bryant, and Pouncey.
