Todd Gurley working well with Rams' offensive line
Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley and the offensive line were more on the same page at OTAs and minicamp, left guard Rodger Saffold said.
Right guard Jamon Brown said after the season that Gurley and the line "have to get back on the same page" in 2017 after Gurley struggled badly last season. Saffold suggested Gurley was diagnosing the play at different speeds than the offensive line, sometimes just being too quick into his runs.
Our models project Gurley to bounce back in 2017, with 1,032 rushing yards and 8.52 touchdowns on 271 carries. We believe he'll add 273 receiving yards and 0.40 touchdowns on 39 catches to boot.
