Colts' Frank Gore expected to remain workhorse back
Indianapolis Colts running back Frank Gore will remain the team's workhorse back in 2017.
At 34 years old, Gore's sustained production has been a wonder. Now, with Robert Turbin and rookie Marlon Mack in Indy, he could surrender a few carries here and there, but CBS 4 Indy's Mike Chappell says that Gore will still get the majority of work in the backfield.
In 2016, Gore rushed 263 times for over 1,000 yards and 4 touchdowns. Our projections expect 39 fewer carries and 831 yards from him in his 13th NFL season.
