Jets' Eric Decker has been cleared from hip and shoulder surgeries
New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker has been medically cleared from his hip and shoulder surgeries according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Jets are trying to trade Decker or he will be released, which he may prefer if it didn't come at a potentially deep cut in salary. However, the receiver participated in OTAs and made a fast recovery from a couple of different major injuries, so there should be some teams calling. There has been some interest out of Baltimore and Tennessee so far.
Decker earned 0.92 Reception Net Expected Points per target on 21 targets in 2016. That would have been second-most among the 60 receivers to see 80 or more targets last season.
