C.J. Prosise could see 60 catches out of Seattle's backfield
Seattle Seahawks sophomore running back C.J. Prosise catching 60 passes this upcoming season is "not a stretch," wrote ESPN Seahawks reporter Sheil Kapadia.
"If he stays healthy for all 16 games," Kapadia added. Prosise was limited to six games during his rookie season, but he's the favorite to lead Seattle's backfield in catches over Eddie Lacy and Thomas Rawls in 2017.
Prosise earned 0.04 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt on 30 rushes last year, as well as 0.91 Reception NEP per target on 19 targets (17 catches). He led the Seattle backfield in both categories out of the three running backs that recorded at least 10 touches in 2016.
