Steelers have Martavis Bryant penciled in as starter

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant is right now a starter, ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler projects.

What It Means:

Fowler notes the Steelers won't hand Bryant the job after he was suspended all of 2016, but there is "no denying he belongs in the starting lineup" if he proves trustworthy. Bryant will have to hold off second-rounder JuJu Smith-Schuster and Sammie Coates, but he is clearly the most talented of the three.

Bryant's 0.66 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 58th among the 87 wideouts with at least 50 targets in 2015 -- his last active season in the league.
