Michael Floyd signs with Vikings on one-year deal
The Minnesota Vikings signed wide receiver Michael Floyd, formerly of the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals, to a one-year contract.
The deal is worth roughly $1.5 million and can reach up to $6 million via incentives, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Floyd can't report to the club until June as he continues to serve a house arrest sentence stemming from last year's DUI. He was inactive for the Super Bowl win with the Patriots and won't be guaranteed a roster spot heading into Week 1.
Floyd's Reception Net Expected Points per target ranked 38th among the 68 wide receivers to see 75 or more targets in 2016.
