Isaiah Ford is Dolphins' target to move up for at 237th pick
The Miami Dolphins traded up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to select Virginia Tech wide receiver Isaiah Ford with the 237th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Ford started 37 games and managed a 4.61 forty at the Combine but shined in the three-cone drill (6.94) and broad jump (10’7"). Ford’s biggest drawback is his rail-thin 6'1", 194 pound frame, which should continue to fill out as he just turned 21. He reminds of Tajae Sharpe with some flashes of Marvin Jones.
Ford posted 2,967 receiving yards on 210 receptions (14.1 yards per reception) and 24 touchdowns in his college career, taking only three years to set Virginia Tech school records in each category. He's no better than fourth on the Dolphins depth chart currently.
