Sheldon Richardson attended Jets' voluntary workouts
New York Jets defensive end Sheldon Richardson attended voluntary workouts last week.
What It Means:
He missed the first day but was present for the rest of the week. Richardson has been the subject of trade rumors all offseason, which fueled speculation that he might not show up for OTA's. ESPN's Rich Cimini expects the Jets to give up on shopping Richardson if they can't find a trade partner by Saturday.
The Jets' defense ranked 10th-worst in opponent-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points allowed per play last year. Richardson had a career-low two sacks in 2016.
