Bengals re-sign Brandon LaFell to two-year deal
The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed wide receiver Brandon LaFell to a two-year contract through 2018.
LaFell was not stellar during his first year with the Bengals, but he did manage 64 catches for 862 yards and six touchdowns even when A.J. Green was out with an injury late in the season. Re-signing LaFell is not enough to fix the issues the Bengals have with depth of talent, but it's a start.
Among the 68 wide receivers to top 75 targets last year, LaFell's 0.70 Reception Net Expected Points per target was 28th-best.
