DeSean Jackson to Patriots would require 'very steep discount'
Washington impending free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson would have to take a "very steep discount" if he signs with the New England Patriots, reports NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Jackson is expected to receive over $11 million per year in free agency, so it's unlikely he lands in New England for the cheap. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers remain the frontrunners for Jackson's services.
Among the 60 wide receivers to see at least 80 targets this season, Jackson ranked 16th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
