Ravens believe Mike Wallace will be back next season
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Mike Wallace is expected to be back with the team in 2017, head coach John Harbaugh said.
This is a topic of conversation due to Wallace's steep $8 million cap hit, but the departures of Steve Smith Sr. (retirement) and Kamar Aiken (free agency) don't leave the Ravens with many options. Expect Wallace, who turns 31 in August, to open the year with Breshad Perriman as Baltimore's top two wideouts.
Among the 60 receivers to see 80 or more targets last season, Wallace ranked 36th in Reception Net Expected Points per target (116 targets).
