Kirk Cousins will only be traded if Washington 'blown away'
Washington will have to be "blown away" to trade franchise-tagged quarterback Kirk Cousins, and are seeking a haul similar to the one they surrendered for the second-overall pick in 2012, according to Profootballtalk.
This comes via a source "with knowledge of the dynamics," Mike Florio reports. It sounds like Washington is just trying to gain some leverage in trade talks with the San Francisco 49ers. They gave up three firsts and a second to select Robert Griffin III back in 2012, but that's not happening for Cousins.
Cousins earned the sixth-most Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back among the 39 quarterbacks to drop back at least 100 times in 2016.
