Steelers make Antonio Brown highest-paid wide receiver with four-year, $68 million extension
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed wide receiver Antonio Brown to a four-year, $68 million extension through 2021.
Brown becomes the NFL's highest-paid wide receiver with the new deal. He's hauled in 100-plus catches in four straight seasons with double-digit touchdowns in three consecutive campaigns.
Brown had a bit of a "down" 2016, but still posted 109.70 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) on 154 targets. His consistent top-end impact is undeniable, however; he's the only player in the NFL to put up at least 100.00 Reception NEP in each of the last four years.
