Washington not expected to bring back DeSean Jackson
Free agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson is unlikely to re-sign with Washington, says JP Finlay of CSN Mid-Atlantic.
Finlay believes "it's hard to see a scenario" where Jackson is back in Washington next season, and his colleague, Rich Tandler, agrees. It's not due to a lack of interest, but Jackson's market value will be priced of the team's budget. Fellow free agent Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder -- who is up for an extension soon -- are both expected to take priority. The Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams are all said to have interest in Jackson.
Among the 60 wide receivers to see at least 80 targets this season, Jackson ranked 16th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
